Hydrologic Unit 04140202, on right bank, 700 ft downstream from bridge
on State Highway 69 in Taberg, and 2.6 mi upstream from confluence of
East and West branches of Fish Creek near Blossvale.

Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of
gage is 485 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. April 1923 to
March 1995, at site 0.2 mi upstream at datum 490.12 ft above NGVD of
Records fair except those for estimated daily
discharges, which are poor. Since 1926, unknown degree of regulation by
City of Oneida Reservoir (Glenmore Reservoir), and since 1956, Rome
City Dam (Boyd Dam). Satellite gage-height telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--
Maximum discharge, 21,600
/s, Dec. 29, 1984, gage height, 13.81 ft, site and datum
then in use, from rating curve extended above 14,000 ft3
on basis of slope-area measurement of peak flow and result of release
of upstream debris jam (constructed maximum discharge, about 16,000
