Extensive diurnal fluctuation caused by power and
industrial operations. Flow regulated since 1953 by Carry Falls
Reservoir, about 46 mi upstream, and by powerplant, 0.4 mi upstream;
considerable natural storage in large lakes upstream from Piercefield.
Water Years 2014-15: Records good except those for estimated daily
discharges, which are poor.
