STATION.--01478245 WHITE CLAY CREEK NEAR
STRICKERSVILLE, PALOCATION.--Lat 39`44'51", long 75`46'15", Chester County, Hydrologic Unit 02040205, on right bank 0.1 mi downstream from West Branch White Clay Creek, in the White Clay Creek State Preserve, and 1.5 mi northeast of Strickersville.
DRAINAGE AREA.--59.2 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1996 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 120 ft above sea level, from topographic map.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
REMARKS.--

Time series of 1-hour or cumulative daily values will NOT be available for retrieval following the 60-day display period. Although the instrumentation is calibrated at least once a year, the temporary classification means that documented routine inspections and other quality assurance measures are not performed that would make the data acceptable for archival, retrieval, or future use in general scientific or interpretive studies. |
