    Station gage imageSTATION.--01465500 NESHAMINY CREEK NEAR LANGHORNE, PA
    LOCATION.--Lat 40`10'26", long 74`57'26", Bucks County, Hydrologic Unit 02040201, on left bank at bridge on State Highway 213, 0.3 mi downstream from Mill Creek, and 1.7 mi west of Langhorne.
    DRAINAGE AREA.--210 mi2.
    PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1934 to current year.
    GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 40.57 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry at station.
    GAGE HEIGHTS OF IMPORTANCE.-
    Supplied by USGS: Maximum recordable gage height (stage sensor operational limit) - 21.7 ft; Data transmitter operational limit - 22.2 ft;
    Supplied by NWS: Action stage-8 ft; Flood stage-9 ft, some homes flood in Langhorne Terrace; Moderate flood stage-10 ft, some homes in the area of the Langhorne gage are evacuated; Major flood stage-12 ft, at 11 ft, considerable damage is reported throughout the Lower Neshaminy Creek basin;
    EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--Flood of Aug. 23, 1933 reached a stage of 17.3 ft, from floodmark, discharge, 30,000 ft3/s, from rating curve extended above 4,700 ft3/s, on basis of contracted-opening measurement at gage height 15.94 ft, and slope-area measurement of peak flow.
    COOPERATION.--Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey. Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Bucks County Commissioners, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, and the U.S. Geological Survey through the Cooperative Water Program.
    This station managed by the PAWSC Exton Field Office.
