[!] ICE EFFECTS ON STREAMFLOW -- During cold weather, ice effects on stage and discharge determinations at some streamgages are likely. Streamgages experiencing ice conditions will have the discharge record temporarily disabled to prevent the display of erroneous discharge values. The discharge record will resume when it is determined that ice conditions are no longer present. Adjustment of data for ice effects can only be done after detailed analysis.

STATION.--04213152 WALNUT CREEK UPSTREAM POOL, NEAR ERIE, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 42`04'26", long 80`14'05", Erie County, Hydrologic Unit 04120101, on right bank, about 150 ft downstream of the Manchester Road bridge along the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission access road.
DRAINAGE AREA.--37.3 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 2008 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 600 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
REMARKS.-- Water quality measurements are suspended November through March.
This station managed by the PAWSC Pittsburgh Field Office.
