LOCATION - Lat 40°42'07.32", long 76°15'05.67" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Schuylkill County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 02040203, 150 ft upstream of confluence with West Branch Schuylkill River and .25 mi east of Duncott.
DRAINAGE AREA - Not determined.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 2012 to September 2015.
GAGE - Datum of gage is 700 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Schuylkill Headwaters Association and the Schuylkill Conservation District.
REMARKS - Station operated as part of the Schuylkill RGI/Pine Knot AMD project. Records for water year 2012 are poor. Records for water year 2013 are fair, except discharges above 9 ft³/s, which are poor. Records for water year 2014 are fair, except discharges above 9 ft³/s, which are poor. Records for water year 2015 are fair, except for estimated days and discharges above 9 ft³/s, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge 45 ft³/s, gage height 3.33 ft, May 15, 2012.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2001 to September 2015.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Schuylkill Headwaters Association and the Schuylkill County Conservation District.
REMARKS - Some values for filtered parameters exceed values for the corresponding unfiltered parameter. These results are within the limits of analytical precision and methods. Station operated as part of the Schuylkill RGI/Pine Knot AMD project.
