Datum of gage changed from 1.35 ft below NGVD 1929 to NAVD 1988, 2001 adjustment, on Oct. 1, 2008. New datum is 3.73 ft below previous datum.

This site uses multiple sensors, and possibly sensor types, to measure gage height. The final usable published data series is presented as the Primary Sensor. The Secondary and Tertiary Sensors are used to fill in for the Primary Sensor when the Primary Sensor is either damaged or less accurate.

This station managed by the Houston Field Unit.
