LOCATION--Lat 42°11’25", long
70°56’43", Norfolk County, Hydrologic Unit 01090001, on left
bank between divided lanes of State Highways 3 and 128, 50 ft (revised)
downstream from unnamed tributary entering from left, 0.4 mi upstream
from Whitmans Pond, and 1.2 mi north of South Weymouth.
DRAINAGE AREA--4.39 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD--Discharge: May 1966 to current year.
Water-quality records: Water years 1967–68, 1999.
GAGE--Water-stage recorder with satellite telemeter. Elevation
of gage is 70 ft above sea level, from topographic map. Prior to Aug.
3, 1996, at site 50 ft downstream at same datum.
REMARKS--Measured flows are prior to diversion at South Cove for
municipal supply of Weymouth.
