LOCATION. --Lat 40°24'41", long 74°59'12" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Stockton Borough, Hunterdon County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040105, 200 ft upstream from bridge on State Route 29, 0.2 mi upstream from mouth, 0.6 mi northwest of Stockton, and 2.5 mi east of Raven Rock.
DRAINAGE AREA. --26.6 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD. --Miscellaneous measurements, water years 1944, 1958-64, 1977-90. Continuous-record gaging station, March 2006 to current year.
GAGE. --Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 80 ft above NAVD of 1988.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD. --Minimum discharge measured, 0.25 ft3/s, Sep 18, 1964.
COOPERATION. --Funding for this gage is provided by the New Jersey Water Supply Authority.
