STATION.--01471875 MANATAWNY CREEK NEAR SPANGSVILLE,
PALOCATION.--Lat 40`20'22", long 75`44'33", Berks County, Hydrologic Unit 02040203, on left bank 200 ft north of powerline across stream, 1.2 mi south of Spangsville, and 1.3 mi north of SR 562 and Earlville. DRAINAGE AREA.--56.9 mi2. PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1993 to current year. GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 265 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Satellite and land-line telemetry at station. GAGE HEIGHTS OF IMPORTANCE.- Supplied by USGS: Maximum recordable gage height (stage sensor operational limit) - 13.4 ft; Data transmitter operational limit - 14.2 ft; Supplied by NWS: No flood stage has been determined for this station. COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Delaware County Solid Waste Authority. This station managed by the New Cumberland WSC. |
