REMARKS.--Daily discharge not available.

STATION.--03029000 CLARION RIVER AT RIDGWAY, PA
LOCATION.--Lat 41`25'15", long 78`44'10", Elk County, Hydrologic Unit 05010005, at bridge on State Highway 948 in Ridgway, 300 ft below the mouth of Elk Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA.--303 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--1940 to 1953 (continuous-record gaging station), 1954 to 1993 (measurements only), 1994 to current year (peak discharge).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,354.88 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by Brookfield Power.
REMARKS.--Flow regulated since June 1952 by East Branch Clarion River Lake and at low flow by industrial plant above station. Daily discharge not available.
GAGE HEIGHTS OF IMPORTANCE.-
Supplied by NWS: Action stage-11 ft; Flood stage-16 ft; Moderate flood stage-18 ft; Major flood stage-20 ft.
