LOCATION.--Lat 39°04'20", long 79°37'23", NAD 27, Tucker County, 
        Hydrologic Unit 05020004, on right bank at Hendricks, 0.4 mi 
        upstream from confluence with Blackwater River.
DRAINAGE AREA.--349 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1940 to September 1993 (measurements, daily 
        mean discharges, and annual maximums), October 1993 to September 
        1995 (daily mean gage heights), October 1995 to September 2001 
        (measurements, daily mean discharges, and annual maximums), 
        October 2001 to September 2004 (measurements, daily mean 
        discharges, annual maximums, and discharges at one hour or less 
        intervals), October 2004 to current year (measurements, daily 
        mean discharges, annual maximums, and gage heights and 
        discharges at one hour or less intervals).
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 
        1,698.76 ft above mean sea level, adjustment of 1912. Prior to 
        Dec. 21, 1941, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
