PROVISIONAL DATA SUBJECT TO REVISION
LOCATION.--Lat 45°50'14", long 88°13'31", in SW 1/4 sec.22, T.39 N., R.18 E., Florence County, Hydrologic Unit 04030108, on left bank 60 ft upstream from bridge on County Trunk Highway N, 1.9 mi downstream from powerplant of Wisconsin-Michigan Power Co., 6.0 mi south of Florence, and 7.0 mi downstream from Popple River.
DRAINAGE AREA.--533 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1923 to December 1975, October 1996 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,098.84 ft above mean sea level. Prior to October 1968, record obtained from Pine River Powerplant 1.9 mi upstream with a drainage area of 528 square miles.
REMARKS.--Flow regulated by Pine River Powerplant 1.9 mi upstream; since storage capacity is small, monthly flows are not affected appreciably. Gage-height telemeter at station.
