Location.--Latitude 48°46'46", Longitude 122°06'19", in lot 7 or 8, SW 1/4 Section 13, Township 38 North, Range 5 East, in Whatcom County, Hydrologic Unit 17110004, on left bank 0.5 mile upstream from Heislers Creek, 6.0 miles southeast of Deming, and at river mile 5.6. Drainage area is 73.3 mi2, see manuscript for changes. Elevation of gage is 580 feet above NGVD of 1929, from river profile map.

Due to new bridge construction, high flow measurements cannot be obtained until summer 2010. Flows above 500 cfs are considered poor and any flow data above 500 cfs should be used with discretion. (Message posted November 23, 2009.)
