LOCATION.--Lat 39°26'21.4", long 76°18'21.7", referenced to North American Datum of 1983,
Harford County, Hydrologic Unit 02060003, on right downstream wingwall of bridge on MD-755 (Edgewood Road),
1.0 mi northwest of Edgewood, 2.3 mi southwest of Abingdon, 2.4 mi east of Joppa, and 3.8 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA.--55.6 miČ.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--January 2000 to September 2004 (operated as a low-flow partial-record station), October 2004 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 5 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929,
from topographic map.
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 8,980 ft3/s, June 28, 2006, gage height, 11.59 ft;
minimum discharge, 4.0 ft3/s, September 10, 2010.

The outage of the GOES-13 East satellite that occurred on May 22, 2013 which has kept some USGS Water Data current condition data from being updated is only affecting a few sites presently.
