May 22, 2013 10:15 EDT: Notice: The GOES-East (GOES-13) is currently out of service. Due to problems encountered, at 6:05 a.m. this morning, a command was initiated to reboot the satellite. The current estimated time for return to service is Thursday, May 23, 2013 in the evening. NOAA switched the feed from GOES East to GOES West. Those sites within the footprint of GOES West will get data; those outside the footprint of GOES West, or with an angle that doesn't reach GOES West will not. NOAA will additionally turn on GOES-14, but not move it. Since it is further East, we should pick up more of the missing stations.
