LOCATION.--Lat 27°30'15", long 81°48'04" (1927 North American datum), in SE1/4 
        sec.22, T.34 S., R.25 E., Hardee County, Hydrologic Unit 03100101, near left edge 
        of water on upstream side of bridge on U. S. Highway 17, 0.8 mi north of Zolfo Springs, 
        and 69 mi upstream from mouth. 

DRAINAGE AREA.--826 mi2. 

PERIOD OF RECORD.--September 1933 to current year. Prior to October 1950, published 
        as Peace Creek at Zolfo Springs. 

REVISED RECORDS.--WSP 1905: Drainage area. 

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. CSG on left bank. Datum of gage is 30.20 ft. above 
        National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Prior to Oct. 1, 1964, the datum of the gage
        was 5.00 ft. higher. Original MSL datum benchmark: USC & GS B.M. Zolfo Springs "W-15", 
        elevation 72.38 ft. above MSL. Leveled on 5-25-50 from U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey.
