Eagle quad., Hydrologic Unit 17050114, on left bank 175 ft upstream
from Glenwood Bridge, 4.4 mi northwest of Boise, and at mile
47.5.
DRAINAGE AREA.--2,773 mi², revised.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--April 1938 to September 1940 (published as
"at Strawberry Glen Bridge near Boise"), March 1982 to
current year. February 1940 to October 1982, station
13205500 "Boise River at Boise", at site 5.3 miles
upstream, and "Boise River near Boise"
13202000 at site several miles upstream not equivalent due to
irrigation diversions between sites and regulation upstream.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 2,600.00 ft above
NGVD of 1929. April 1938 to September 1940, 0.30 mi downstream at
different datum.
REMARKS.--Flow regulated by Anderson Ranch Reservoir, Arrowrock
Reservoir and Lucky Peak Lake (sta 13201500). The New York,
Ridenbaugh and eight small canals (sta 13205995) divert between
station "near Boise" (see sta 13202000) and this station.
Diversion above station for about 5,000 acres are outside the basin
near Mountain Home. Measured as ending site of Boise River seepage
investigation in 2010 water year.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge observed, prior
to completion of Lucky Peak Dam in 1955, 13,000 ft³/s May 2, 1938;
minimum observed discharge, 19 ft³/s Dec. 3, 1939. Maximum discharge
since regulation, 9,840 ft³/s June 13, 1983, gage height, 11.54 ft;
minimum discharge, 42 ft³/s Oct. 26, 1983.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD.--Flood of Apr. 20, 1943 reached
a discharge of about 21,000 ft³/s
