    This station has two turbidity sensors that use different methods for measuring turbidity. Turbidity values from these sensors are not directly comparable and it is common for the sensors to produce different readings. Due to extreme sediment conditions in the Elwha River, reported DTS-12 values above 1,000 FNU may be subject to reduced accuracy. For turbidity conditions greater than 1,000 FNU, refer to available data from the Analite sensor.
