LOCATION - Lat 46°13'00", long 119°06'29" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.31, T.9 N., R.30 E., Benton County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17020016, on east end of U.S. Coast Guard wharf on south side of Clover Island, at the north city limit of Kennewick, 6.6 mi downstream from mouth of Yakima River, 4.4 mi upstream from mouth of Snake River, and at mile 328.6.

PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1987 to current year. Records for October 1963 to September 1966 (discharge) and October 1979 to February 1988 (elevations), published as Columbia River at Pasco (station 12514000) 1.4 mi upstream, are not equivalent for elevations because of fall between sites.
