LOCATION.--Lat 43°03'00", long 88°02'46", in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.20, T.7 N., R.21 E., Milwaukee County, Hydrologic Unit 04040003, 325 ft east of highway 100 on right bank, 0.4 mi upstream of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad bridge, 0.2 mi downstream from the Mayfair Rd. (Hwy 100) bridge, on Milwaukee County Park Commission property, at Wauwatosa, and 1.6 mi upstream from mouth.

DRAINAGE AREA.--18.1 square miles.

PERIOD OF RECORD.--December 1974 to November 1979, July 1980 to present.

REVISED RECORDS.--WDR WI-77-1: Drainage area. WRD WI-85-1: 1984.

GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. From October 3, 2016 to present, the gage is located 0.4 mi upstream from railroad bridge at 680.14 NAVD88. From April 3, 2012 to October 3, 2016 the gage was located on the right bank just below the railroad bridge (orifice location 30 ft upstream from the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad bridge), the gage datum was 680.0. From February 23, 2010 to April 2, 2012 the gage was located 0.4 mi upstream from the railroad bridge. From September 10, 1993 to February 28, 2009 the gage was located on the right bank just below the railroad bridge (orifice was located 30 ft upstream from the railroad bridge), gage datum 683.5 NAVD88. From March 1, 2009 to February 22, 2010 the orifice was located 100 ft downstream from the railroad bridge (below a channel drop) at 678.7 NAVD88. From Sept. 10, 1993, to February 28, 2009 the orifice was located 30 ft upstream from the railroad bridge. From November 7, 1974 to September 9, 1993 the orifice was located 10 ft downstream from Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad bridge at datum 690 (from topo map). Water-quality recorder gage. From February 11, 2010 to February 23, 2010 and April 2, 2012 to October 3, 2016 there was an auxiliary gage located 0.4 mi upstream from the railroad bridge.

REMARKS.--Gage-height telemeter at station.
