LOCATION.--Lat 39°01'45.5", long 80°28'25.5", 
      referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Lewis County, WV, Hydrologic Unit 05020002, 
      on right bank at Weston, 0.6 mi upstream from Stonecoal Creek, 1.5 mi downstream from Murphy Creek, 
      and at mile 69.9.
DRAINAGE AREA.--122 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 2005 to current year (annual maximum and minimum gage height). 
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is approximately 999.49 ft above NAVD 88 
      (VERTCON conversion of 1,000 ft above NGVD 29, from topographic map). 
      On June 25, 2010, the gage was removed from the water plant location and moved upstream, 
      0.9 miles, to the next bridge crossing the West Fork River. 
      A Design Analysis 3611 radar unit was installed on the downstream side of the bridge and a 
      wire weight gage was placed next to it as an outside reference. The data logger/transmitter is a 
      Design Analysis 522+ installed in a aluminum box on the downstream right bank wingwall.
This gaging station is maintained in cooperation with:
        U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District
This station managed by the Charleston Field Office.
