LOCATION - Lat 39°46'44", long 105°55'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.20, T.3 S., R.76 W., Grand County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14010001, on right bank 700 ft downstream from Steelman Creek, and 6.5 mi southeast of Leal.
DRAINAGE AREA - 16.4 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1313: 1937 (M), WDR-US-2011: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1933 to September 1941, published as Williams River below Steelman Creek. October 1965 to current year. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1313.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 9,800 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to July 21, 1933, nonrecording gage, and July 21, 1933 to Sept. 30, 1941, water-stage recorder at site 600 ft upstream at different datum.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water Year 2015; records good except for the period Feb. 6 to Sept. 30, which is fair, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2016; records good except for the period Oct. 1 to May 26, which is fair, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2017; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2018; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2019; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2020; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
