LOCATION - Lat 39°50'02", long 106°03'21" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.31, T.2 S., R.77 W., Grand County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 14010001, on right bank at downstream side of bridge, 100 ft downstream from Kinney Creek, and 1.7 mi northwest of Leal.
DRAINAGE AREA - 89.5 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1733: 1951. WSP 2124: Drainage area. WRD CO. 1973: 1972.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1933 to current year. Records since May 10, 1940, equivalent to earlier records if diversion to August P. Gumlick Tunnel is added to flow past station. Prior to October 1958, published as Williams River near Leal.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 8,790 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Aug. 16, 1953, at site 15 ft downstream at present datum.
REMARKS - Water year 2014; records good except for the periods Oct. 1-25 and Feb. 14 to Mar. 31, which are fair, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2015; records good except for the periods Oct. 1-6 and Jan. 8 to Mar. 6, which are fair, and estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water Year 2016; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2017; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2018; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2019; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2020; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2021; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
