LOCATION.--Lat 39°13'58.3", long 75°37'56.3", Kent County, Hydrologic Unit 02040207, on left bank, 75 feet below county bridge, 0.4 mile downstream from confluence of Taylor and Pink Branches, 1.9 miles east of Kenton, and 2.6 miles northwest of Cheswold.
DRAINAGE AREA.--9.35 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--July 1931 to October 1933, April 1943 to September 1957. Annual maximums, water years 1958-75. February 2017 to current year.
REVISIONS HISTORY.--WSP 1382: 1932-33, 1943-44(M), 1948-49(M), 1951(M). WSP 1432: Drainage Area.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 16.58 feet above North American Vertical Datum of 1988, from DelDOT bench mark stamped "DOT 4" NGS PID DG8054. July 1931 to October 1933, nonrecording gage at bridge 75 ft upstream at different datum. April 1943 to Aug 1951, and October 1957 to September 1975, nonrecording gage at bridge 75 ft upstream from present site at present datum.
REMARKS.--U.S. Geological Survey satellite data-collection platform at station.
COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the Delaware Geological Survey and the U. S. Geological Survey.
