REMARKS.--Computed discharge at this station may differ from individual measurements because of changes in tidal influence, wind, or other factors. Flow affected by tide and variable backwater from the Suwannee River. Discharge computed from relation between artesian pressure at Manatee Hickory Loop well, provided by Suwannee River Water Management District. Prior to October 2012 discharge computed using different methods.

Hydrographers measuring flow on October 16, 2002.
During periods of higher water levels the Suwannee River backs up into the spring run. The water quality data collected during these periods is not representative of water coming from the spring, but the Suwannee River.
