LOCATION - Lat 25°50'15.7", long 80°35'57.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, in Water Conservation Area 3-B, north of Tamiami Trail (U.S.Highway 41,) west of L-30, and east of L-67A.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 2006 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with water-stage shaft encoder. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88).
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
REMARKS - This station is part of the Everglades Depth Estimation Network (EDEN) for Support of Biological and Ecological Assessments. This site goes dry at an approximate elevation of 4.73 ft. NAVD 88, which may occur during the dry season which is April, May, or June.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 8.34 ft Nov. 22, 23, 2020; minimum, indeterminate, well dry for many days during the dry season some years.
