LOCATION - Lat 25°52'11.98", long 80°27'23.06" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.05, T.53 S., R.39 E., Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, 1.0 mi southwest of junction of Pennsuco Canal and Dade/Broward Levee, 5.5 mi southwest of Pennsuco, and 7.5 mi north of U.S. Highway 41.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 15 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 10 ft, bottom of last opening 15 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 4.80 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: top of base, 14.53 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Oct. 6, 1995 to Jan. 1, 2002; top of base, 14.38 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May. 1, 2002 to Jun. 1, 2018; top of flange, 11.9 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jun. 1, 2018 to present. Between December 13, 2001 and May 1, 2002, the measuring point gradually shifted to the current elevation as a result of well casing deterioration. See REMARKS.
