LOCATION - Lat 26°22'35", long 80°27'19" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Palm Beach County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, in Water Conservation Area 2-A , north of L-35B, west of L-36, and east of L-38E.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2006 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with water-stage shaft encoder. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88).
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
REMARKS - This station is part of the Everglades Depth Estimation Network (EDEN) for Support of Biological and Ecological Assessments. This site goes dry at an approximate elevation of 10.71 ft. NAVD 88, which may occur during the dry season that may change because the well is sitting on the bottom of the swamp and the elevation of the mud may change from one season to the next. Water-level data from September 6-30, 2006 has been revised. Corrected data are in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Daily values are available online at http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height 13.98 ft Nov. 12, 13, 2020; minimum, indeterminate, well dry many days during the dry season some years.
