LOCATION - Lat 36°41'30", long 88°16'25" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Calloway County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 06040006, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on State Highway 464, 0.3 miles southeast of Almo, 5.1 miles upstream from Rockhouse Creek, and at mile 53.5.
DRAINAGE AREA - 134 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1982 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with telemetry and crest-stage gage.  Datum of gage is 413.35 ft above NAVD of 1988 and 413.46 ft above NGVD of 1929
COOPERATION - Kentucky Energy and Environmental Cabinet - Division of Water and the USGS Federal Priority Streamgages program.
REMARKS - During summer months, water is occasionally diverted by farmers for irrigation use. This is done approximately 0.5 miles downstream from gage.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 23,300 ft³/s, gage-height, 18.35 feet, March 2, 1997; minimum discharge, 1.2 ft³/s, gage-height, 4.11 feet, November 28, 2008.
