The streamgaging station, Plum Island River at Plum Island, MA (42475200491701), was discontinued October 1, 2017 due to insufficient funds. This station has operated continuously since August 2015 and has provided river stage and discharge data to numerous Federal, State, and local water-management agencies to monitor and manage water resources.

right bank, 1 ft upstream of Viles Street, nr Weston.
DRAINAGE AREA--10.2 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD--January 2010 to current year.
GAGE--Data Collection Platform, with telephone telemeter at station Elevation of gage is 130 ft above sea level NGVD 1929 (from topographic map).
