The streamgaging station, Plum Island River at Plum Island, MA (42475200491701), was discontinued October 1, 2017 due to insufficient funds. This station has operated continuously since August 2015 and has provided river stage and discharge data to numerous Federal, State, and local water-management agencies to monitor and manage water resources.

PERIOD OF RECORD-- October 1972 to current year (data publication discontinued from October 1, 1991 to September 30, 2002).

GAGE--Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 613.51 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers benchmark).
