The streamgaging station, Plum Island River at Plum Island, MA (42475200491701), was discontinued October 1, 2017 due to insufficient funds. This station has operated continuously since August 2015 and has provided river stage and discharge data to numerous Federal, State, and local water-management agencies to monitor and manage water resources.

interested in providing the additional funds needed to continue operation of

72°41’39", Franklin County, Hydrologic Unit 01080203, on
left bank at upstream side of Reeds Bridge just off Bardwell Road, 2.2
mi north of Conway, and 2.6 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA--24.1 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD--Discharge: June 1966 to current year.

GAGE--Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter since July 2006. Elevation of gage is 453.12 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to Apr. 5, 2005, at downstream side of bridge at same site and datum.
