LOCATION--Lat 42°27'18", long 72°22'56", Franklin County, Hydrologic Unit 01080204, on left bank 800 ft downstream from State Route 202 and 1.4 mi east of Shutesbury.
DRAINAGE AREA--12.6 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD--November 1983 to September 1985, April 1995 to current year.
GAGE--Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 539.44 ft above NAVD 1988, estimated from topographic map. Datum previously reported as 540 ft above NGVD 1929, estimated from topographic map.
REMARKS--Records greater than about 100 ft3/s are considered poor.

This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority and
Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Water Supply Protection, Office of Watershed Management.
