The streamgaging station, Plum Island River at Plum Island, MA (42475200491701), was discontinued October 1, 2017 due to insufficient funds. This station has operated continuously since August 2015 and has provided river stage and discharge data to numerous Federal, State, and local water-management agencies to monitor and manage water resources.

Suspended sediment records: 1994–96.
GAGE.--Data Collection Platform with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 690 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS.--Flow unaffected by regulation.
