LOCATION.--Lat 38°19'56.5", long 76°27'52.6", Hydrologic Unit 02060006, at
Calvert Marine Museum, Solomons.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 494 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 474 ft,
bottom of last opening 494 ft. Drilled, observation, artesian well.
GAGE.--Water-level measurements by U.S. Geological Survey personnel.
Equipped with digital water-level recorder, March 18, 2004 to current year. U.S. Geological Survey water-level telemeter at well.
DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 18.1 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
Measuring point: Top of recorder shelter platform, 1.90 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 18, 2004, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--March 2004 to current year.
REMARKS.--Maryland Groundwater-Level Monitoring Network observation well.
Water levels are affected by local and regional groundwater withdrawal.
