LOCATION - Lat 48°56'45", long 95°18'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.9, T.163 N., R.36 W., Roseau County, MN, Hydrologic Unit 09030009, at Springsteel Resort on Springsteel Island, 2.8 mi north of Warroad.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1985 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum at gage is 1,000.00 ft above sea level (Lake of the Woods datum). From 8/7/19 into future the datum of gage is 1000.84 ft. NAVD88. 
REMARKS - Water levels subject to fluctuation caused by changes in direction and velocity of wind and resulting seiche.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 63.97 ft, June 25, 2022; maximum daily, 63.68 ft, June 24, 2022; minimum gage height, 57.04 ft, Oct. 8, 2006; minimum daily, 57.43 ft, Mar. 18, 19, 20, 1988.
