GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 728.56 ft above sea level (NGVD of 1929).
REMARKS - Seasonal gage.
Records good except those for estimated daily-mean discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 3,710 ft³/s, June 19, 2014, estimated daily-mean; maximum gage height, 11.03 ft, June 19, 2014; minimum discharge, 0.20 ft³/s (result of freeze-up), Jan. 4, 1981. It's likely that the peak discharge of record was associated with the peak stage of record that occurred on June 19, 2014. But the maximum peak listed is an estimated daily-mean due to variable backwater conditions.
