LOCATION - Lat 44°44'57", long 92°48'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.9, T.26 N., R.20 W., Pierce County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 07030005,
DRAINAGE AREA - 7,650 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August, 2007 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage and velocity recorder. Datum of gage is 649.50 ft above sea level (NGVD 1929).
REMARKS - Backwater from Mississippi River at all times. Reverse flow at times from seiche and navigation traffic. Routed flows affected by attenuation and storage between St. Croix Falls and Prescott.

Records fair except those for estimated discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 43,500 ft³/s, stage, 36.35 ft, May 31, 2012; maximum stage, 36.57 ft, June 1, 2013 (variable backwater conditions); minimum discharge, -1,360 ft³/s, July 27, 2013, (result of seiche).
