Water-Year Summary for Site 05346050
NOTE: During winter months, stage and discharge may be significantly affected by backwater from ice, resulting in incorrect discharge data. Consequently, discharge data may not be displayed during periods of ice effect. Click here for more information.
Lake elevation (water level, ft. NAVD88) were recorded quarter hourly from 29 July 1998 at 00:00 CDT to 17 Apr. 2014 at 00:45 CDT. Water level (water level, ft. below LSD) and lake elevation (water level, ft. NAVD88) were recorded hourly from 01 Nov. 2018 at 16:00 CDT to the present, except during the following periods:

Current Gage:
Lake level is measured with an OTT Orpheus Mini submersible pressure transducer, which is hanging in a stilling well. All water level, water temperature, and battery voltage data are currently recorded hourly by the same OTT Orpheus Mini submersible pressure transducer. The gage is powered by 3-AA alkaline batteries and is not telemetered. Data are downloaded manually.
Old Gage:
A Sutron Satlink2 data collection platform, Design Analysis H-350 pressure transducer, and H-355 gas-purge system were housed in a 2 ft. x 1.5 ft. x 6 ft. Hoffman look-in type shelter. Instruments were powered by a deep-cycle marine battery charged by a 1.2 ampere solar panel and a Sunsaver power regulator. Solar panel, satellite transmitter antenna and rain gage were attached to side of shelter on a 10 ft. mast. Data were measured at 30-minute intervals and transmitted via GOES satellite at 4-hour intervals. This gage was discontinued on 01 Nov. 2018.
