Hyalite Creek at Hyalite Ranger Station near Bozeman, MT
(About shift-adjusted ratings).
Station operated by the USGS Wyoming-Montana Water
Science Center as part of the Federal Priority Streamgages
network.
UPDATED June 18,
2022: The equipment at this station,
along with the bridge they were partially tied to, were washed away by
a flood on June 13, 2022. The station was reestablished about 100 feet
downstream of its previous location on June 17, 2022, at a new datum.
Previous control points were lost in the flood. Streamflow, if
available, will be considered an estimate until the stage-discharge
relationship can be adequately determined at the new location with the
channel changes that occurred during the flood.
