- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 44°59'32.44", long 110°41'27.51" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.36, T.9 S., R.8 E., Park County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 10070001, Yellowstone National Park, on left bank at Wyoming-Montana state line, 400 ft upstream from highway bridge, 0.5 mi downstream from Boiling River (formerly Hot River), 1.5 mi north of Mammoth, and at river mile 2.9.
DRAINAGE AREA - 198 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1938 to September 1972, April 1984 to current year. Prior to October 1959, published as Gardiner River near Mammoth.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 5,623.97 ft, referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (levels by National Park Service).
REMARKS - No regulation or diversion occurs upstream from station.
