LOCATION.--Lat 40°36'00", long 74°40'26"
referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Bridgewater Township,
Somerset County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030105, on left bank, at
upstream side of bridge on County Route 614 (Easton Turnpike) in
village of North Branch, 0.1 mi downstream from River Brook, and 3.6 mi
upstream from confluence with South Branch Raritan River.
DRAINAGE AREA.--174 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Continuous-record discharge station, water
years 1977-81. Annual maximum gage, water years 1982-95, 1997 to
current year.
REVISIONS HISTORY.--On Mar 8, 2019, gage-height for the period
Jan 2, 2017 to Jan 26, 2017 was revised based on hydrographic
comparison.
GAGE.--Water-stage recorder with telemetry and crest-stage gage.
Datum of gage is 56.94 ft above NGVD of 1929.
