Water-stage recorder with telemetry monitors stage above
and below wooden control. Water-stage recorder below control since
October 2003. Tidal crest-stage gage below control. Datum of gage is
0.00 ft NGVD of 1929.
Records good, except for estimated discharges, which
are fair. Occasional regulation by ponds above station. Stage-discharge
relationship can be affected by variable-stage backwater from tide. The
water-stage recorder below control at station is used when variable
stage backwater conditions exist.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--

The air temperature data for this station
are temporary and will only be displayed for 120 days. Although the
instrumentation is calibrated at least once/year, the temporary
classification means that documented routine inspections and other
quality assurance measures are not performed that would make the data
acceptable for archival, retrieval, or future use in general scientific
or interpretive studies.
