Beaver dam construction may occasionally affect flow. A significant
portion of the base flow was the result of continuous pumpage from a
limestone quarry into a tributary approximately 1.5 mi upstream from
gage, until April 2004 when it largely ceased with only occasional
short periods of pumping.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 589 ft³/s,
Aug 28, 2011, gage height, 6.63 ft; minimum discharge, 0.16 ft³/s, Sep
12, 2016, possible result of regulation.
