LOCATION.--Lat 40°41'06", long 74°17'19" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Kenilworth Borough, Union County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02030104, at Galloping Hill Golf Course.
WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Depth 290 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 0 ft, bottom of last opening 290 ft. Drilled observation well.
DATUM.--Land-surface datum is 69 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of shelf, 2.30 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 1, 1984 to Dec. 22, 2015; Top of gray PVC casing, 2 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 22, 2015 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 1943 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-level recorder with telemetry.
REMARKS.--Water level is affected by nearby pumping of irrigation well.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Highest water level, 3.06 ft below land surface datum, Jun 2, 1952; lowest, 16.05 ft below land surface datum, Jun 29, 1966.
