LOCATION.--Lat 41°00'48", long 75°05'10" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Hardwick Township, Warren County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040104, on left bank 700 ft streamward from River Road, 1.0 mi downstream from Tocks Island, 3.7 mi northeast of Delaware Water Gap, PA, and 4.0 mi upstream from bridge on Interstate Route 80.
DRAINAGE AREA.--3,850 mi².
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Continuous-record discharge station, water years 1964-95. Annual maximum gage, water years 1955, 1996, 2002-08. Continuous-record gage-height station with annual maximum discharge, water years 2009 to current year.
GAGE.--Water-stage and air temperature recorder with telemetry and crest-stage gages. Datum of gage is 292.63 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS.--Annual peak data can be obtained by selecting Peak streamflow from the 'Available data for this site' drop-down menu above or by using this link.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 260,000 ft³/s, Aug 19, 1955, gage height, 37.4 ft, from high-water mark; minimum discharge, not determined.
