During winter months, cold and ice may result in inaccurate real-time gage height and streamflow data. Adjustments or deletions of this data can only be done after detailed analysis.

LOCATION.--Lat 39°57'22", long 74°37'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Pemberton Township, Burlington County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040202, on right bank, 50 ft upstream of bridge on Fourmile Road (County Route 646), 0.1 mi south of New Lisbon, 0.7 mi upstream from mouth, and 3.1 mi east of Pemberton.
DRAINAGE AREA.--77.9 mi2.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--Occasional miscellaneous discharge measurements, water years 1954, 1973. Continuous-record discharge station, May 1998 to current year.
REVISED RECORDS.--WDR NJ-03-1: 1998 (M), 2003. WDR NJ-04-1: 2003 (M)
GAGE.--Water-stage, velocity, and precipitation recorder with telemetry and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 34.18 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS.--Records poor. Water diverted for water supply upstream of gage. Stage-discharge relationship can be affected by variable-stage backwater. Velocity recorder and stage-area relationship are used to compute discharge for variable-stage backwater conditions at this site.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD.--Maximum discharge, 1,800 ft3/s, estimated, Aug 28, 2011, gage height, 9.87 ft; minimum discharge, 15 ft3/s, Aug 16, 2002.

The water temperature data for this station are temporary and will only be displayed for 120 days. Although the instrumentation is calibrated at least once/year, the temporary classification means that documented routine inspections and other quality assurance measures are not performed that would make the data acceptable for archival, retrieval, or future use in general scientific or interpretive studies.
