LOCATION - Lat 39°31'15", long 74°19'10" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Little Egg Harbor Twp, Ocean County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040301, on the west side of Great Bay Boulevard, about 200 ft north of Little Sheepshead Creek.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 880 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 860 ft, bottom of last opening 880 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 5.60 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF SHELTER SHELF, 4.9 ft above land-surface datum, May. 28, 1997 to Jul. 2, 1997; Top of base of locking cap, 4.7 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 1, 1997 to Sep. 7, 2019.
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1997 to September 2019.
GAGE - Water-level recorder.
REMARKS - Water level affected by tidal fluctuation. The well was pumped on Jul 21, 2005 and Aug 24, 2010. After pumping, the water-level did not return to its previous level. Therefore, the screen may have been partially clogged prior to the pumping.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 16.05 ft below land surface datum, Feb 5, 1998; lowest, 26.27 ft below land surface datum, Jan 11, 2015.
