During June 5-9; the New Mexico offices of the USGS Water Science Center are transitioning to a new data management software package. While you may not notice this transition, some sites may have problems or delays in being updated. We are actively monitoring these conditions and are resolving them as quickly as possible.

at the end of April 2017 if funding cannot be found!!!

This Station is primarily a flood warning gage installed after the Whitewater Baldy Complex fire. Its main purpose is to alert residents of on-coming potential flood events. These events are an elevated threat due to extreme run-off and erosion caused by the cleared and bare drainages in the burned area.
